Only 2½ hours’ drive from Johannesburg, Old Joe’s Kaia is a great stopover en route to The Kruger National Park, Swaziland and Mozambique and a great destination for reviving your soul.

Accommodation

Accommodation is offered in Log Cabins, Rondavels and Kaia Rooms. Each of these units has a different theme and is uniquely decorated accordingly.

The units either have twin beds, queen-size beds or single beds and all have a balcony /veranda and private bathroom en suite (bath and shower).

Facilities

The living area of the main building is intended for relaxation and comfort, with stunning views of the valley and adjacent mountain. Quality time can be spent either reading a book or enjoying the company of friends or fellow travellers.

Alternatively the peace and tranquillity of the valley can be absorbed whilst reflecting on the sheer beauty of the region.

In winter a fire place provides diners with that cosy ambiance only experienced in the African bush.

Old Joe’s Kaia is well-known for its excellent cuisine and fabulous wines. Meals can be enjoyed inside the cosy lounge-dining area or outside on the balcony at tree-top level.

Activities

Walk the Labyrinth at Old Joe’s Kaia, stretch with Yoga classes in the gardens, drink in the views, explore their hand picked wine selection, indulge in the delicious well known cuisine or go bird-watching.
