Nelspruit

Nelspruit, which was officially renamed Mbombela, is the capital of the Mpumalanga Province and is called the gateway to the Kruger National Park. It lies about 330 kilometres east of Johannesburg.

With Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, just outside the city, it makes for the perfect base to explore the region and it particular the Kruger National Park and other Big 5 game farms. Activities in the area also include visits to the crocodile farm, ostrich farm and Halls estate, hiking, and much more.
