Mispel Cottage - Sleeps 5 (1 Double, 3 Singles) Is situated overlooking a watering hole. It consists of two bedrooms en suite, a spacious open living area with a cosy fireplace for cold nights. The cottage leads onto a front porch, overlooking the upper wetlands and a back porch with a secluded braai area in the bush. Mispel Cottage sleeps up to five people. It is situated within the breeding perimeter of Bateleur Nature Reserve.
Stone Cottage - Sleeps 2 (1 Double) The self-catering open plan Stone Cottage on a North-facing gradient looking North-East. A Wrap around Stoep provides you with a breathtaking views of the Waterberg. Here you will find a well equipped braai area under the trees. Constructed with a Ramp, French doors and an “open” shower to provide for handicapped visitors. Cool off in the rock pools within close proximity of the Cottage.
Mountain Villa - Sleeps: 12 (1 Queen, 10 singles) Carved high into the mountainside with a breathtaking view of the plateau, the upper wetland and typical Waterberg mountain scenery, lies this spacious villa. A large dining room/lounge and a big family - or conference room, all open out on big balconies overlooking the plateau. The Villa has five bedrooms, two bathrooms as well as an outside bathroom complex serving the swimming pool area.
Gum Cottage - Sleeps 6 This quaint two-bedroom cottage sleeps up to five and is situated among huge Bluegum trees. Is has a spacious lounge/dining room with an open fireplace and outside braai. From this secluded cottage, several short hikes can be enjoyed. Birders, in particular enjoy the Gum Cottage, being close to the Lilly Dam and the Kloof Bird Hide.
Vaalboom Cottage - Sleeps 2 (Double) It is fully equipped for self catering with all linen, crockery, cutlery and electrical kitchen equipment. Situated in the Game Breeding Camp you can expect Game on your stoep. Vaalboom is a open plan layout and has an en-suite Bathroom. A beautiful old Vaalboom tree covers a Lapa/Braai area where guests spend most of their time enjoying a beautiful views of the Waterberg Mountain range and game.

Activities
The Nature Reserve is famous for its SAHTOA accredited Stamvrug Hiking Trails, consisting of ten different circular - and day trails, laid out amongst the kloofs and escarpments. Enjoy hiking, game viewing, bird watching, mountain biking, swimming and fishing but first and foremost relaxing in the Waterberg Wilderness. |
