Cape Karoo Guest House offers affordable overnight accommodation in a quiet suburb just outside Beaufort West, Western Cape. Perfect for stop overs for drives along the N1 between Cape Town and Johannesburg. 

Cape Karoo caters for families and business travellers. Experience the peace and tranquillity of this bed and breakfast, posed against a backdrop of the Nieuweveld Mountains. 

Accommodation

This elegant oasis has five en-suite rooms, each with its own entrance.  Rooms lead to a refreshing country atmosphere in the enchanted garden. Our guest house is pet and child friendly. 

The main house is an original Sir Herbert Baker, built in 1902 and each garden room has a rich history. We are a small guest house which is owner-operated; therefore we offer individual attention to all of our guests.

All luxury units are equipped with, Air-con, Heater, TV with DSTV, Microwave, Electric blankets, Wi-fi.

Sir Herbert Baker Rooms

These rooms are part of the main house, but are still completely private and have a separate entrance.  The unit consist of two spacious, separate rooms, with one bathroom with a bath and shower.  B&B

Garden Cottage

The garden cottage has a double bed and two single beds. The room has a walk-in shower and separate toilet. It also has a veranda walking out to the garden directly. B&B or self-catering 

Dei Gratia Luxury Room

This luxury room is consists of a queen-size bed and separate single-pull out bed, making it perfect for a family. The room can either be booked as a self-catering unit or as a full-board unit.

Windpomp Room

This luxurious room has a king-size bed and is spacious enough for an extra mattress for the little ones. En-suite bathroom with a shower. B&B or self-catering 

Afri-Karoo Room

This room has two single beds which can easily be converted into a luxury king-size bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower.

This unit can either be booked as a bed and breakfast or self-catering.
